Wayne was born in 1950 at Glasgow, KY and is the oldest of two children born to the late
Marion & Elsie Hatcher of Cave City. He often states it's good to be doing
the Lord's work in the area where
one was born and raised. He and his wife chose to return to South Central KY
in 1983 to raise their children. He certainly knows how to relate to the people of our community.

PERSONAL:
He married Rebecca Jones (a Hart Co. native) in 1970. He and Becky have two children. She has served faithfully
as the wife of a gospel preacher and as a mother of two children.
We believe she is a special lady.
COMMUNITY:
Because of his interest in helping young people,
Wayne has been active in PTA and served as President of Caverna Elementary
PTA. He was active as a Band Parent Booster for several years at Caverna. Since
1993, he has served as a Board Member of the Caverna Independent School
District.
He loves this community and looks forward
to working with the church in Horse Cave and helping the people of this area
come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Our mission can be no less than
the Lord said in Luke 19:10
"for
the Son of man came to seek and to save that which is lost." The
gospel indeed has the power to save!! (Romans 1:16).
